This isn’t a huge surprise , and as far as I can tell, there hasn’t been an official announcement, but People is reporting that Nicole Richie and Joel Madden tied the knot last night in Los Angeles at Lionel Richie’s home.

“They wanted an Old Hollywood, glamorous feel to their wedding,” says another source. “They’re going all-out with the decor. Nicole wanted a memorable, elegant affair for only their closest friends and family on their special day.”

About 130 people reportedly attended the wedding, but one wedding guest got a lot of attention.

…a trained elephant was spotted being led into the Los Angeles estate of Richie’s father, music superstar Lionel Richie, where two tents were set up for the ceremony on a warm evening.

Besides the elephant (I don’t know WHAT to say about that- lol), the ceremony was traditional.

Their rings were by jeweler Neil Lane, who also crafted Richie’s 4-carat engagement ring, a source tells PEOPLE.

Imagine being pregnant, shopping in Neiman Marcus, and having your water break. It happened to one woman in New Jersey, but another shopper made the experience much more bearable with humor: comedian Chris Rock.

The Grown Ups star, who has two kids with wife Malaak, used his trademark humor to keep the woman — and a crowd of concerned shoppers — calm until an ambulance was called.

“He was making the crowd and the woman in labor laugh,” an eyewitness tells Us. “She recognized who he was immediately and he stayed there until the paramedics took her away.”

Guests in attendance, which included Joe Jonas, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Trevor Donovan, Jessica Lowndes, Gillian Zinser, Ryan Eggold, Matt Lanter, Modern Family’s Sarah Hyland, HellCat’s Heather Hemmens, Pretty Little Liar’s Ashley Benson, Scream 4′s Nico Tortorella, actors Grey Damon, Sara Paxton, and Ben Hollingsworth, were all the first to receive Armani Exchange’s new watches from their Holiday collection. Dinner AND gifts? Nice.

Sorry “The Closer” fans, but it looks like season 7 will be the last of your favorite show starring Kyra Sedgwick! The announcement was made today that the show is coming to a close.

“The difficult decision to conclude the series with season seven was made by Kyra Sedgwick.”

Turner Networks’ head, Steven Koonin, shared:

“It’s impossible to fully express our appreciation to Kyra Sedgwick, series creator James Duff and all of the other talented people who brought The Closer to TNT viewers.”

They start production on the final 15 episodes this spring.

Wow. I am so shocked over this. The show has some of the network’s highest ratings! But I guess Kyra must feel ready to move on? She’s spent a lot of time away from her family while shooting the series.

Anna Faris and husband Chris Pratt have given up their tradition of sexting each other Wednesdays after a stray text wound up in her father’s inbox!
Anna explained to Ellen DeGeneres:

“One time I was sending him a text, and I accidentally sent it to my dad.”

Thank goodness the message was mild, but still traumatic to have it wind up in your dad’s hands. The text read:

“I can’t wait to see you in bed tonight,” she wrote.

Anna’s mom may not be very happy that she shared this story:

“We used to have a spicy relationship. (she & husband Chris) Now this is really going to embarrass my mom that I told you that story.”

Anna didn’t learn her lesson with that one, however:

“There was a close call with my husband’s nephew, who’s like 9 years old,” she says. “I know. We’ve stopped now.”

This morning a video of Miley Cyrus smoking a bong spread across the internet, and even though the herb she was smoking isn’t illegal, her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, is not impressed. Billy Ray shared via his Twitter:

“Sorry guys. I had no idea. Just saw this stuff for the first time myself. I’m so sad. There is much beyond my control right now.”

The herb she was reportedly smoking is called salvia, which is still legal in some areas (including California where Miley lives), but is known to causes hallucinations and have some scary side affects and is considered a “drug of concern“.


While it’s not Miley’s responsibility what other kids do, you know it’s going to be blamed on her if kids are suddenly trying this herb.

“I don’t really have many friends. I never have. I was always a loner. I was in and out of school so much – so, I dunno, I’m really shy. Which is weird because you probably wouldn’t think that.

“(I) loved it. It adds a great humility to what I do musically, because I was able to continue in something in the arts with all the exuberance of youth and the experience of the music business, but truly on the bottom of the ladder…

He isn’t ruling it out 100%, but he has much loftier plans right now:

“Maybe some day again (I will act), but it’s so far down the list of things to do these days, because the music has been so great, I’ve got other philanthropic actions and business stuff going on. So it’s not that appealing.”

I thought he had done some more acting recently, but I guess not – according to iMDB, his last gig was back in 2006! I’m a little behind! At least he hasn’t given up music!

Wow, talk about not giving a show a chance! The new reality show featuring David Hasselhoff and his daughters Hayley and Taylor Ann has been given the axe after airing just 2 episodes. “The Hasselhoffs” just premiered on December 5th, to dismal ratings and then dropped by 50% for the second episode.

Back in July, Hayley said she hoped the show would shed light on what a close family they are. According to The Hollywood Reporter, there are still 8 half-hour shows that will go unseen.


I don’t understand that part – if you already have them ready to go, why not just air the episodes and get something out of it? It’s already “bought and paid for”, just put it on at a random time of day/night, know what I mean? Can’t they air it in Germany? The man is still HUGE over there! LOL!

Kelly Osbourne is not having a good month! First, she has to go in to have foot surgery on both of her feet and now someone has stolen her ATM card! Kelly is in New Orleans and Tweeted her disgust over the theft:

“Someone stole my bank card today and has already spent $2,000 on it people who steal are the lowest of the low! What a f**ker.

I can’t even imagine. I’m guessing the bank froze the card immediately and Kelly will recoup the loss, but STILL!


Kelly did have some good news to share. She says the reason she is in New Orleans is because she’s shooting a movie with Miley Cyrus! Wow! Congrats to Kelly on landing that project!! She must be squeezing it in before her surgery.

“You want a secret? OK, how about this – I’ve got a whole collection of tapes of me rapping from when I was 13! I wanted to be a rapper so there are hundreds and hundreds of tapes. They’re very amusing!

“I was obsessed with Eminem when I was younger. When he first came out I was about 12 and fanatical about his ‘Slim Shady’ CD. I think he’s a genius.”

“Most of my rhymes were stolen off other people anyway. They were all like, ‘I was raised on these streets..’,  which was a complete farce because I was actually raised in quite a nice area of London called Barnes. Not very ghetto at all!

“I was obsessed with it all, though. I even had my own little crew – we called ourselves Big Tub and the Tappy Cats.”

Robert adds that while he loves the music world, he has no plans of going full time.

“I’m a bit of an attention seeker – I love being on stage. But the thought of performing music on stage terrifies me. I’m not scared of acting though.”

Too funny! What I wouldn’t give to see those old videos! Though I’m glad he’s sticking with acting. I’m not so sure Robert is totally cut out to be a rapper.

Whaaaaat?! Nicole Richie practically has one foot down the aisle already and she hasn’t decided on a dress for her wedding to Joel Madden yet! That’s insanity. Any normal bride would be flipping out. Maybe she is, who knows.

“She’s deciding between two dresses: Marchesa and vintage Chanel.”

She flew to a fitting for the Marchesa dress in New York last week, but her mind still isn’t totally made up.

“Nicole brought her stylist Simone Harouche with her. A lot of thought went into her dress — it was a priority for her.”

Well I suppose if both dresses are fitted and ready for Nicole, she can wake up the day of the wedding and see what she’s in the mood for. If only we all had the luxury of purchasing a couple 20 grand dresses for our big days
